welcome to the BROOKLYN ART LIBRARY y'all! this is actually the home to the SKETCHBOOK PROJECT, a place where you can check out a pile of books, have a seat at the sun-soaked oak tables, and read on. all the books are individually catalogued, barcoded, and tagged with subjects, media and other attributes, which will be searchable in the database. all you have to do is to simply sign up for a free library card (it takes 3 clicks and 4 seconds) and one of the librarians in heavy glasses will help you to navigate the archive. also the library is a storefront purveyor of notebooks, art supplies, stationary and vintage ephemera. so we could grow up 2gether
