finally, ACE HOTEL LONDON is opened. the place smelled so new cos it was just the soft opening, but good enough to be called my home away from home. i skipped into the room & twirled a lil bit; yea, it got me that excited. the superb location & the hospitality of the staff were equally awesome; major shoutout to the night time manager shaun who was sporting a killer combo of yellow spectacles & red baseball cap. inside the room you shall find collaborations with local creators like the lockwood umbrella & the ally capellino leather corn tray. the custom pendant lights by philippe malouin & that long communal table at the lobby were not to be missed. next time when i shall return, the 100-seat restaurant managed by pablo flack & david eaddington of bistrotheque, the café serving square mile coffee, the gallery space, the flower shop by hattie fox, & the lovage juice bar would be up & running. can't frigging wait!
