the newly fallen snow is not only the magnificent backdrop of a winter wonderland, it's also sound-absorbing due to the trapped air between the individual crystalline flakes, trapping sound waves & dampening vibrations. but as the snow hardens by the poignant blowing wind & the nonchalant sunshine, its sound-softening quality fades away. that's why when the snow begins to fall, it's magical, especially when u are lucky enough to stroll through central park, one of the place in this world that i can always leave my worries behind, & be grateful about how wonderful & beauteous life can be. best christmas ever
