the kiltie oxford

burlutti swing the kiltie oxford shoes were first spotted on george v’s feet back in 1905 in the land of old england, & then became widely adopted in the ’20s. these once described by the new york times as the “charmingly oddball golf-shoes,” were also very major in all the american country clubs in the 50’s, with the very distinguished additional fringed tongues hanging over the top. now featuring a removable fringed tongue in iconic venezia leather, this pair of BERLUTI swing is keeping the kiltie tradition going. made out of kangaroo leather ( which is incredibly soft, supple, & water-resistant ) , the two-tone patina just takes the snazziness to a whole new level. old-fashioned they might be, but remember - propriety always leads to something graceful
