to some, being liked is the most important thing, so they take a certain flatlay picture, use a certain popular filter, or even put on an act for the others day after day just to get a certain amount of attention & affection. that's the easy way to navigate through life i guess, but to me, i don't take the easy route, cos easy is lazy, easy means mediocre, & easy makes you generic. the path i choose might be the bumpy narrow little road that is very much less travelled by, but the destination that it leads me to, is way more magical & glorious than those where the easy ways take you to. and yes, compared to staying true to yourself, being fucking fake & be the one they want you to is so much easier
