KAHAILA is a coffee shop with a conscience. all the products are ethically sourced and its wooden interior reminds me of a secret tree house cabin, which makes the perfect sanctuary for yet another rainy afternoon in brick lane. the cake and brownie and flat white are heartwarming and the people who run this place are nice and lovely. we sure need more folks like them in this world. instead of having those who hurt or kill others for selfish reasons :(
