take ivy
once upon a time, in the late sixties, a japanese photographer ventured to the States taking picture of the boys from all those ivy league schools. madras plaid shorts and loafers and lots of legs. the book is entitled take ivy and the photographer is Hachette Fujingaho. all i want is to to dress and do a shoot like that.

RE:QUEST's mikus lasmanis is spellbinding. he's a professional snowboader from latvia. he knows when to rest his chin on the knee. each finger poses elegance. wraps his arms around his body when the right moment arises. every move of his is like a tiny little haiku. plus a small dose of melancholy.

been trying to see SPRING AWAKENING for over a year and finally made it. it's not rent but hunter parrish is cute. but what's cuter is blake daniel! loves when he sings "o, i’m gonna be wounded, o, i’m gonna be your wound."
liquor store
it was election day's afternoon and since i couldn't vote, i hopped into the J CREW'S LIQUOR STORE in tribeca instead. first thing the cocky white boys working there, very helpful thought, did was to offer me a cocktail from the bar inside the shop. it was all beer to the other customers and obviously i looked fruity enough for a mixed drink. i loved it already. then i bought 2 shirts, one from thomas mason for j crew and both in extra small! yes, they sell xs there; "only here, not even online." one of the cocky boys in curly dark hair said. me like cocky.

brittain's with WILHELMINA. the day after the shoot they asked him, in front of me, "what did kwannam whisper to you when he photographed you?" his answer were 2 sharp precise words -- "show teeth." LOL. the picture of him showing teeth would be out early next year. LOL

my recent favorite purchases include, goblet from FISHS EDDY (as vase), pink plaid shorts from the patrik ervell sample sale, stickers from ELECTRIC YOUTH magazine, and a cop playing video games at a dunkin' donouts (the colors of the photo just match my shorts)!
